The yuvutu Bisexuality Report

Every week, thousands of people register with yuvutu.com. Many of these people will register their gender, age, nationality and sexual orientation as well as other details. Yuvutu.com has performed some interesting analysis of this data with some startling conclusions.

Bisexuality and Age

The most surprising finding is that male bisexuality is correlated to age. The older the man, the more likely he is bisexual. As can be seen from the chart below:

Any sociologist will confirm that an R squared of 0.8 on a sample of nearly 13 thousand is a very high correlation indeed. According to the chart, a 25 year old male is perhaps 10% likely to consider himself bisexual, whereas for a 60 year old the figure is 33%. This implies either that straight men develop homosexual desires as they grow older, or that it takes time for men to admit to “taboo” desires they have always had. We believe that the former explanation is more likely, because we did not find such a correlation for men claiming to be gay.

The R squared of 0.015 shows that the correlation is negligible.

We also found no correlation between age and female bisexuality:

However the average figure of 49% for female bisexuality amongst declared users is astoundingly high. This is much higher than the average for males which is also high at 17%. These high figures could be the result of sample bias. It is quite feasible that women who are interested in visiting porn websites are more likely to have bisexual tendencies that the general female population. Perhaps the same is true but to a lesser extent for men.

However, we do not believe that there is a sample bias in the age correlation analysis.

Bisexuality and Nationality

For female bisexuality, there seems to be very little country deviation from the average. It is interesting to note however that European countries tend to have higher rates of female bisexuality than South American countries.

The variation of male bisexuality amongst countries is more pronounced than female bisexuality. Again, male bisexuality seems to be more prevalent among European countries than South American countries.
